hey guys, just after a bit of advise about what fits what, wheels that is :D got a z1000 ltd, its an import one and has the tail piece as opposed to a big chrome muddy.....if that makes any difference, its got a 16'' rear wheel which id like to swap for an 18, but oddly it has an 18'' fitted on the ...

thanks guys...... the collar is available separate. if you mean the brass bush which is pressed into the basket then no it is not available as a separate part yes typically its the brass/bronze (??) bush thats allowing it to waggle about................ poxy shed :lol: i'll see if i can find a local...

hey guys, is the center bush thingy replacable on a 1100r clutch basket ???? iv had all sorts of probs with mine ending with the cluctch basket breaking up whilst whizzing down the m40 a couple of weeks ago..........which was nice :shock: !!! got the bike back home and with the clutch cover and sump...

the zrx front end went straight onto my z using the original zrx bearings, no dicking about changing stems and using odd bearings... which was nice :) the length seems ok too with no ground clearance issues.... http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t78/71bugslug/002-4.jpg :)

the ole zed, obvs still grumbling about its enforced extended daily ride, decided to start rattling last week, not being completely stupid i thought id better have a quick look :D checked the usual stuff and all looked ok, thought id change the cam chain whilst i had the lid off........................

thanks for the input guys and sorry for the confusion, as GB says i was refering to the later gpz/j type motor, sprocket should be here by the weekend so i'll chuck it on and report back..... well, thats if my rev counter starts to behave itself, go over 5k and its started going mental, swinging all...

ahhhh, mine are 45mm........................ my plan is foiled :lol: :lol: which is a shame as the carbs appear un-used !!!!!! http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t78/71bugslug/004-1.jpg as far as is the engine standard, i dont know for sure, the po claims he had a rebore and 'piston kit' (his words)...

carb measurment needed...... please

hey guys, does anyone have a set of 34mm (1100R type) carbs sat around ?? if so could you please measure the size of the bit that goes into the mounting rubbers ? iv read that 36mm gsxr carbs will fit into the standard rubbers but, me being me, have got a set of 38mm carbs instead :lol: i dont know ...

anyone got a full set that'd fit my 1100R ???? im stranded till i sort a set :(

changing my exhaust and the harris ones are miles too short !!

does anyone know if z650 ones will fit as theres a few sets on ebay ????
