All my 3 seats b2/ J / and aftermarket all measure the same as yours and your fittings look to be mounted correctly --- do you have a pic of it on the bike ?

Last week i cleaned out the rust in my z1100r tank using the coke/limescale cleaner method , it came out pretty good . Are you having injection or carbs ? If you`re using carbs this bit can be left out and the pickup plug and igniter plug fitted directly together . ( I have one of these in the box of bits i have from when i converted mine 20 odd years ago so i`m guessing the 2 wires go to something to do with the in...

On mine 3 wires ( Red ,brown & green)come out of harness to a white 3 pin block connector right above the carb inlet rubbers.

Has the sidestand switch got 2 wires , or 4 ? Just wondering if its the same as a B2 .
