My tacho aint workng , Drive ok ,and cable spinning . so it must be goosed,
dont want the Electric type on fleabay,, :roll:

Mines is same as 1st picture, will try again tmorrow, chain seem tight, also.
as wen putting thin damper rubber on bottom. push idler down and chain is taught,, :?:

Top idler [ cam hain]

Weve just rebuilt the top end of my Z900. [ new chain and tensioners /guides /rollers ] the cam cover won"t sit down propper, seems to be riding on top idler. do i need thinner rubber mounts on idler, ? its about 5mm high.
or have i the wrong cover, ie; off different engine ..
