A 10 amp fuse will do as the bulb will draw 5 amps.

Does the rear light work, as I assume that one wire coming out of the loom is supply and the other bl/w is the return to the loom for the rear light and the clocks. So fuse will supply power via the ble wire to the r/h switch, if the light switch is on it will supply current back to the double conec...

had a look at mine and i have

Loom blue Female bullet -- blue male bullet R/H switch

R/H switch female double bullet -- blue/white loom
-- blue L/H switch

First I would test the Sarter motor, short out the two large connectors on the relay with a suitably insulated tool (spark). If the starter cranks then that is ok. You say you have current to the relay so a assume you have a meter or simalar, put ammeter between the two small wires on the relay and ...

Just measured a front rim and it's 20" outside to outside. I assume th 19" is the tyre size ie: inside dia of tyre.

I guess it just a matter of doing the maths ie: the brake light is 21 watts so needs a cable that can carry 21watts/12 volts so less than 2 amps. 0.5mm gives you 11 amps so for most off the loom this should be fine and will give you upto 132 watts. Earth cable should = the load, but if you are using...
