I use Keith garage. The mechanic is ex ducati dealer. Belts change cost me under £200 and considering the cost of genuine belts that is pretty cheap and takes away the risk. I was forced to sell my last z1000 as every time I wanted to use it there would be a carb issue. I popped a dent out like that with the use of an air line at the local petrol garage using the rubber foot of a cycle rack with a hole through the middle. I about shit myself when it popped out though as it was a massive bang.

Looks to be a pretty tidy ltd Simon. Shame to dick around with it too much.............then again get in there. It will be nice to see the z1a returned to a z1a if that is your plan.

This really is a cracking project. I'm pretty sure it is setting records in the no. of viewings too.
