I use Keith garage. The mechanic is ex ducati dealer. Belts change cost me under £200 and considering the cost of genuine belts that is pretty cheap and takes away the risk. Not great for long journeys although drove to Spa on it last year. I suspect the answer is a low screen and 70mph + to take the weight off your arms and shoulders. zed replacements
I was forced to sell my last z1000 as every time I wanted to use it there would be a carb issue.
