Hi all. Some minor speed bumps on final assembly, if you could wade in with your wisdom - much appreciated! 1) Engine Sprocket Is this the securing washer that should be bent around the nut? Doesn't look like it...? https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1522/25121947960_5347668d0a_c.jpg 2) Engine Sprocket ...

Another quick Q. Want to power this thing up and check all circuits but the M-Unit requires a switched 12V to the LOCK terminal to actually switch it on - even though its connected to the battery. However, I don't have an ignition switch and the keyless remote is not at the garage. How can I 'improv...

What fuse, if any, should the charge wire be rated at?

Nice one P.

Any test I can do to confirm its that one and not the BROWN...?

More importantly, where should it enter the circuit if ignition ON is controlled by a MotoGadget? The Motogadget has a +12V accessory supply which I think is switched.

Hello all. Yes, the world's longest Z build is alive and well, just been in hibernation due to all kinds of boring nonsense. BUT! I have to get it on the road this spring as the garage where the build is kept is being demolished. So even if I don't complete it myself I'll hand it over to my engine b...

Cheers buddy.

Just concerned the machinist supplied 2 rings needing pin and hook spanners to fit if only one needs to be used.

The hook type is too shallow to allow the stem bolt to bite.

Dust cap is included.

Chaars!

Re the motogadget swipe ignition, I assume that you swipe it once for on then swipe it once for off, or does the sensor need to be close to the pick up all the time? I have my sensor mounted on the inside of the seat and the Key Fob has to touch the Seat right on top of the Sensor (but other side o...

Hello lads. Getting the project ready for a final assembly :D and setting up the head tube preload. The machinist who made my yokes also included these 2 different preload rings. I assume the bigger one screws down and sets the preload and the top one is the lock ring? My question in short is - are ...

I have several side stands. The ones on the left are Z650, the chrome one is (I think) GPZ600 and the one on the right is one of the KH/H triples (H1 I think). You will see they are all much the same on the jaws, the length and the spring hooks can vary. http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i259/trans...

Pretty cool.

But need something that just bolts on as my build is already slow enough!

Side Stands

Hi peeps.

Does any side stand fit any Z frame of the same era?

Anyone got one for a late 70s Z650 with all the bits?

Cheers!
