ive swapped leads and caps, tried new plugs still the same, must be a carb fault i think.

Anyone know what causes no 4 cyl on my z900 a4 to miss fire and the plug
is allways wet ???
The comp is ok and iv'e try'd new plugs !!!!
Could it be over fueling on that cyl ??

weld a nut to the broken stud, apply a direct heat ( oxy/act ) flame to the alluminium around the stud, with a spanner gently rock the stud left to right. A bike of mine did this when i fitted dyna s once. It was the dyna rotor sticking, took the thin shim out and it still did it, ended up taking some off the rotor with fine wet and dry on a piece of glass. Make sure you can turn the rotor freely with your fingers and feel the advance unit working smo...

so what your saying is turn the crank clockwise, then back a little so you can feel the slack the adjust the chain.

Built a z1 eng up over winter, runs fine apart from having a bit of a cam chain rattle from first start up, re adjusted the chain a couple of times as per manual no joy :( Yesterday took the chain tensioner off and with one finger down the barrel pushing against the tensioner wheel and a spanner on ...
