Don't believe it, had this down in the diary and gone and double booked so not going to be able to make it well pissed off as it looks like the weather is going to be good as well.

I had the same flickering oil light following the rebuild of my engine when on tick over but if you revved it, it went out. turned out to be the 91mm 'o'' ring in the sump pan or lack of

Put it back in and hey presto no light.
