Seat strap is easy to fix if you have the right seat pan......simply screws on. If not you have to drill a couple of holes and use the nut and bolt that comes with the seat straps. There was a bloke way down here in Oz who I think did this colour.
From memory I'm sure he got hold of a NOS tail and matched from there.

Just be careful whoever you use doesn't lose the stampings/markings off your parts when they re-chrome. This is a sore point with me after having the "highly recomended" place linish the damn marking off a couple of my bits. Course I'm talking about Oz, you probably don't have those troubl...

Mine does exactly the same thing. I have an Avon Speedmaster on the front. I do know that my swingarm bushes are a bit sus, so was hoping that this will right itself once the bushes are replaced.

Kawasaki still sell the bracket at least. Though the one I got here in Aus. cost AUD $35.00 and was as rough as guts. Lots of scoring at the bends, (Looked like it was bent in a vice) and rice paper thick plating. But I guess that's how it goes with the "Genuine" parts now.
