i believe the boyer ign is playing up it keeps fouling the plugs (very black sooty) to be honest i have never been happy with it. the carbs are set and synchronised. my question is if i fit dyna s will the boyer micro coils suit the dyna? if not will have to go back to points and standard coils as a...

fitted new fuel tap repair kit float hight set at 23mm floats not punctured, new float valves & seats. also checked float height with carb tool (fittment screwd into drain screw on bowls with clear tube) reading correct. No 1&2 still leaking from bowl joint. will check brass tubes.

the gaskets are fiber type from nrp carbs. will soak them and try again. old ones leaked a bit but new ones are worse. t peice seems ok deff the bowl,float heights ok. wll also check fuel tap. if this fails were would i get the rubber gaskets?

fitted new gaskets to bowles but still leaking. seems to be coming from bowle joint. what gaskets make are best to use.

having problems with clutch. before top end rebuild outer clutch cable had been rubbing against downpipe causing iner cable to rust. this led to heavy clutch. replaced it but clutch kept slipping. changed oil/filter (was silkoline) now gtx. also changed friction plates although these are secondhand ...

hi bro. had same problem with me vance and hindes. got it shot blasted and sprayed it with pj1 coating engine paint. still looks great after 350 miles. great finish but its all down to preparation. shot blasting gives paint a good hold.

There should be continuity between each of the three phases (yellow wires) but no continuity between each yellow wire and ground. here we go. the new alternator is a dud. got it a week a go from electrex world, has anybody had problems with these before? got it checked this morning by a motorcycle mechanic with in 5 min he found the problem.

battery is good 2 weeks old. got on to z power dont need other connector. done test on new alternator not getting a reading. took cover off and some of the varnish has came off alternator windings. getting another alternator to try.
