Gday Vic Has the master cylinder piston got a hole for a push rod to locate in or just flat ? The old BMW twins with rear discs used a similar master cylinder that was horizontal mounted with a remote reservoir. Hi Ralph I should have one as I have about 95% of a GPZ1100A1 rolling chassis I have used the motor from. Hi Olly I can confirm your calculations. If you Google GPZ1100 DISCS you will get conflicting information some sellers say that the B1 and the B2 are the same a few say they are different. Hi Taffus/Paul I think we may be getting our lines crossed a bit here. Olly was referring to my set up when he said about the spacers. But I think he has sussed out the problem. I have got 270mm disks. The wheel did not come with the forks and may well be a B1 wheel. so I need 280 disks this will be...

I have had more of a look this afternoon. If I clamp the pads to the disk in the right place using large vice grips with them located in the caliper mounting both holes are out of line. I did try replacing left for right but this did not help. If I have to I will fill the holes and drill and tap new...
