Fuel Cap

Can someone please show me a picture of a Z1 fuel filler cap open, so I can see the spring position. Amazing how you can just about rebuild a complete bike and get stumped on this! Any tips on installation would be great too please.

Speedo Cable.

Hi Guy's, need some help identifying which speedo cable to get. I got a new cable for my Z9, appears to be about a 10mm thread at the clock, which is correct and fits, and about 8mm at the drive, which is too small. The drive on my bike has the same size thread as at the clock. Does anyone know what...

Back in the s...

The outside plate/washer from the roller bearing pusher can't actually fall away as it is held in place by the towers that the springs sit in. I have just noticed that the spring holding/outer plate has notches worn in it where it has been binding on the clutch casing. This would explain the chatter...

That all makes sense and I'll check it all again. The problem is the same as it was before I put all the new stuff on and only when it gets hot. you can hear the chatter and feel it at the bars. If I try to make a quick getaway it's quite a big clunk as it engages. Then it's fine untill the next tak...

Clutch Help

Need some help please guys. On my Z9, I have fitted a new clutch pushrod, new APE extra plate and spring kit and a roller clutch pusher. All is good untill like today, after a half hour ride, with a lot of clutch work, pulling away from a standstill and the clutch grabs, chatters rattles and then en...
