The thread on the housing where the cable enters the casing is stripped. It's my B2.

Hi lads, My gear change shaft is sloppy in the outer casing. I have removed this to look at. Is there a bushing that can be replaced or is it the casing that wears. I'm not sure as I cant see one. (the thread has also gone in the clutch cable and will require helicoiling)

Sorry for all the questions peeps but... My batt is flat on my b2. I've just started it with jump leads fine but as soon as I take the leads off it misses and dies. I thought the alt would charge and it run ok, but no. I haven't had time to put a tester on the alternator outlets to see if its chargi...
