Allspeeds

Thanks for the comments. The pipes on the h1 are gibsons as opposed to allspeeds. It has some nice mods......wider alloy rims with stainless spokes, twin 4 pot front brakes, dresda box section swing arm, K&n's etc. It could really do with setting up a bit better Though so I need to find a triple...

Could do with some space

While I am back on here......I could do with some space in the garage so will consider selling this mint and original A5 for a decent offer (you can't replicate originality!). 12,000 miles and LOVELY. It is wearing new pipes and front fender but I have the originals, which will be supplied with the ...

Little brother for the Zed

I've just got a companion for the Zed. It smells and lacks grunt...but its a nice pairing I think. http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc165/pauletype/Z1AH1.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc165/pauletype/ZH1.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc165/pauletype/h1rear.jpg

Just bend the back edge of the seat pan up to match the more rounded profile of the earlier tail. The seat pans rarely seem to follow the curvature nicely and only need a simple tweak to look much nicer. The seat pan is thin and very easy to manipulate. If you can't do it with your fingers then eith...

Pigford wrote:Whatever, wot carbs are you running now.... did you get the 33's from Jack AVON Calling :?:

No...they are the standard original set of carbs which ran well before with a straight thru' 4 into 1 pipe but standard airbox....so I just need to correct for the K&N's.

Wow!!! Thanks for saying all those nice things. I have to say that all the previous positive comments during the build really spurred me on and gave me a lot of encouragement to press on ..... so cheers for sharing the enthusiasm and I have certainly enjoyed posting the progress reports and pictures...

Just went up t'road for its first run and the pipe sound lovely and mellow...Not 'nasty' at all. I have got to tweak the front brake caliper brackets because they are designed for narrower discs and touch a little - but apart from that it seems to be good. I still haven't got my brake pedal back fro...

Great!! A positive response which is refreshing in the day and age where everything worth doing is usually deemed antisocial.

I am still waiting for my final plating and in the meantime I couldn't help noticing that my PMC 'road race' baffle was a little meek. Well this is the 'road race' baffle, on the right, next to the gizzards that I have torn out of the 'road' baffle that comes as standard......Yes that piece of tube ...

What a tasty looking bike....love it.

For what it's worth my vote goes for the shorter pipe (not the under seat cans with the loooooooong pipes) and no fairing at all

Look forward to seeing your bike at the Ace Kawasaki day, by the way what width rims did Hagons fit? Sorry Big John...never got back to you on the wheels; 4.25 x 18 and 2.5 x 19 flangeless aluminium rims with stainless spokes. Not sure the 4.25 with a 160 will go in a std swing arm (in fact I am da...

This project is getting real close now but the final anodizing and chroming didn't show before the weekend unfortunately. Thanks to Pigford sending me a solenoid it is now up and running and the PMC pipe sounds luuuuuuvly. I was going to fit an oil cooler shroud but after two evenings making one I r...

I am going to love watching progress on this project.....superb! I love to see all those ugly bits get hacked off the frame. The Auto cad drawing is very impressive...... I am intrigued as to what sort of USB attachment you have that is gonna turn it into a steel frame gusset! have you got an...
