I put the colourtune on my bike tday; set 1 and 2 to a nice blue colour. Went round the other side to do 3 and 4 and..... no spark on any cylinder....WTF. I wont get a chance to avagood look til tmrw. This has never happened to me before.... where shud i look first? Tommy

i did avalook inside the swichgear and it was a bit grotty: cleaned up wot i could get at. wires and soldering looked good. I`ll have alook again tmrw. Oh... I replaced the frayed neg earth lead from batt to engine with the 9inch Halfords item the other day: slightly thicker. Shouldn`t be a problem ...

I have a situation where if i turn the ignition on, my 20amp fuse blows instantly unless i leave the kill switch in the OFF position, then its fine. If i take the R/H switchgear off the bars, i can start the bike---- no probs. I recently done some work on coils and headlight, so i may have disturbed...

yes----- just realised my mistake. Having reread the diagram it appears to be 20 10 10 for the a4 and as u say only one fuse for the earlier zed. ta TC

My Haynes sez the fuses should be 20 10 10. That is for the early bikes; but is it the same for a 900 a4? Just need to confirm this. cheers Tomski
