G'Day, Short the starter solenoid terminals and if the motor runs then that's a good start (no pun intended). If it fails, the motor is RS. G'Day all,
I am rebuilding a set of front calipers for my z1000A2 and to my surprise the pistons appear to be smaller than the 77 z1000 and 73 - 76 models.
Has anyone encountered this?
Does anyone have the dimensions (service limits) for the pistons.

G'Day, The best thing you can do is pull them off (<20 minutes effort), strip them and clean them with an air gun. Its a good time to put a new kit through them and then do a re-sync. The kit will reduce fuel leaks and the re-sync will get it back in tune. I went one step furthur and had mine vapour...
