Z1000J Parts book

Is there a published parts book for the Z1000J? If so where can I get one?

I have a J2 with what appears to be a number of parts missing but do not know for sure. For instance, is there a bracket/rubber between the rear of the tank and the frame?

Thanks Chris. It is for that really straight/original Z1A. I was hoping to be able to get an original bolt as everything else is original on the bike. I had a spare pear nut but not the bolt. I only noticed it was missing after it passed an MOT😳 Have sent off for the reg - now waiting for th...

Z1000J2 Indicators

Just bought a J2 which has aftermarket indicators fitted at the rear. Are the rear indicators the same as the front on this model?
I don't know anything about this model but, if the answer to the question is yes, the fronts give me a guide as to what to look out for...

Z1A Speedometer Drive

After deciding to recommission a very original Z1A, which has been stood in my garage for 4 years, I rode it to the MOT station to find that the speedo did not work. It was not a broken inner cable - that had since been removed and some prat had tried to drill out the end of the pinion - so I need e...

Albion Street Motors/ Adrian Smeet Motorcycles

I am tracing the history of my Rickman and have come across two dealer names associated with my bike: Albion Street Motors (which traded in the '70s) and Adrian Smeet Motorcycles (which must have been trading in the early '80s) but have no addresses or other details. Does anyone know of these dealers?

Rick - I binned a shell and rim yesterday (off a Ltd I think) as I bought it for the headlight unit. The shell looks reasonable - may need a little work at the rear whilst the rim is grazed. Your welcome to both FOC if they are any interest to you. If so pm me your address and I will post later this...
