Z1000 A1/A2 Fuel Tank

I am building a special for a club member and the petrol tank has had the metal bits removed that the badges screw into :splat Why o fucking why?!!!! It'll be something of a ball-ache for me to make and weld on new ones, so if there's a solid but scruffy tank kicking about that would save me the wor...

South West 10th Intergalactic Rally 28th-30th July 2017

If you never been to a South West rally you really should! If you have, then you don't need persuading - you know the fun and frolics that happen in Cider Land :) As always, Friday night will coincide with a regular bike night and we will have a magical mystery tour (ride out) on Saturday. Whilst ca...

I'm meeting the Southerners at the Chunnel on Thursday morning. I'm going to ride across on Wednesday, probably take the coast road and will stay the night somewhere not too far from the channel tunnel. As CB isn't up for the trip, can anyone suggest somewhere to stay that's not too expensive, where...

Looking at the damage, £600 seems very reasonable - have they seen it? If you're only selling it, why do you care about originality? If you can't get the original decals nor panels, then it's not going to be original if you do paint it. I suspect that panels in breakers in good shape for a sports b...

Pattern ones are so cheap, it's not really worth the candle. They're not designed to be taken apart, so it would be extremely tricky and not worth the effort IMHO

Re: Chrome headlamp ears

I was just sorting out my bits for the zed and noticed that the two sets of the headlamp she'll holders are different length when I thought they were both for my zed. When I say length I mean the distended of the end of the ears to the fork tube about 15mm bigger identical in all other ways. Any id...

You flash bastard Mikey - taking the key out!! The ones that live in the workshop are in constant state of readiness in case we have non-salty roads and sunshine The bikes that live in the lockup are subject to damp so I always intend to coat them in ACF50. Trouble is that they are out of sight, out...

From Pensford riding to Hull looks as though it's probably not much different to Harwich or Dover miles wise.

We would have to stay in a Premier Grim whichever port we choose. We're more concerned about getting our B&B booked in Germany!
