Battery Hold Bracket

Looking for the metal strap that locks the battery in position on a 1978 Z1000a2, paint does not have to be good.

Unplugged the outage relay and the bulb stopped flashing :D
I guess a new relay required.

David suggested swapping the flasher unit with the hazard flasher unit, I did and indicators worked perfectly. :)
New flasher unit ordered.

I only rode the bike for a few miles before stripping but did notice slow inictors with a pause before flashing.

Evening all, I fitted a new battery today as part of the putting back together processs :D The idiot brake light bulb was replaced as it had blown, this now flashes permently when the ignition is switched on, rear light and brake light work fine ? also Indicators flash very slowly and not a all with...

So, could someone have simply unscrewed the tops and replaced with the nipple type ones or would this not be possible ?
There is air pressure in the forks.
Could it be a case of unscrewing them to see what's in there ?
