My experience with Arai was all positive as well, through a dealer to boot. After a slide down the roadside they X-rayed the lid to check for interior damage, which fortunately it didn't have. I seem to recall I didn't even pay post.

My A4 has 4 x 4 around a metmachex alloy arm, only mod was the centre stand has to come off as it fouls the brace.

Not quite the same, but probably similar.
