Thanks for reply. I have Some MorriS oils 10/40 semi synthetic that I put in my old car. Being a newly returned old bike owner I'm just finding out whats best to use! Not being cheapskate and happy to spend if the morris oil doesn't suit.

What grade/makes of oil do people use these days please? Z1000 MK11 standard engine.

Thanks for the ideas. I know I have dealt with this problem in my distant past, trouble is my memory has faded... I want to get the wheel off to replace the tyre. Can I assume that a bikeshop would supply and fit if I just took bike to them? If so any suggestions as to where to go in the Midlands? N...
