thats great info.....thanks everyone,basically just wanted to know about engine/s-arm fitments etc for a race project can save meself a few quite by buying a shaft chassis rather than the more elusive z9/z1000 frame

is there much difference between z9/z1000 and a z1000 shaft frame? i would imagine pretty much the same at the front of the loop its the rear section i was wondering about?
are they wider at all at the swinging arm pivot point

z900/z1000 frame needed...nothing flash as it's for a race bike project

ok thanks for trying brett......just finished off glueing the heat shield onto the airbox so i'll try that back in place .....might need some tweaking.....then next week i think it's electrics i hope
