Few updates, I have made contact with a Zed specialist in Paris who speaks English and can repair my head. Hoorah! However he says the head needs to come off unfortunately :( at least it's a step forward though rather than having to ship it back to the UK. Coose the chain alignment is checked with a...

Ok the which goes on which side was a stupid question, they can only go one way with axle coming in from the left :) So just need to know what they measure I guess.

Cheers

ZRX Chain Adjusters?

Chaps, I was just removing my rear wheel to fine tune the chain alignment and the axle galled up in the chain adjuster I had fitted on the chain side. The adjuster I got with the swingarm were machined parts rather than genuine. Axle is jammed solid for now, but It was always a bit tight, so I decid...

Coose, no it's for a brembo but that's just as close as it can go to the wheel. I guess they planned that one would update to a bigger disc. Although does seem a little strange! Yeah I found somewhere That will do a custom for 80 quid which sounds ok to me

Very useful Coose cheers, I will study it on my 8 hour flight to my luxury destination ;) Reason the bracket is like that is because the caliper can't move any further in on this wheel, the standard zephyr caiper being a 2 pot slider, so guess the whole solution relies on a bigger disc. Should be no...

Agreed Coose. I should have waited to order the disc :) The over racing instructions tell you to cut away some of the pads so they don't bottom out but sounds like a bodge to me.. Will have to measure up when I get home and figure one out. Away to board a plane for sunny Congo for a week :(

Got my new rear disc and caliper on today. The caliper actually sits fairly low down on the disc, but no room to move it any further up for the hub.. So it will just have to be like that for now. I could get a bigger disc in there though so an option for later.. http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm...
